ALAN RIVERA PRIETO
Alan Rivera is a journalist, philosopher, and political analyst. In the area of philosophy, he focused his investigations on the current crisis of leadership and political parties that has been occurring since the last decade of the 20th century. In 1993, he presented “Political crisis and public space,” an in-depth research study in which he relates this phenomenon to the rapid development of communication technology.
As a teenager in high school, he had an intense political life that continued for almost 18 years, during which he had the opportunity to interact and interview with a number of political leaders, getting to experience the deepest and most genuine human motivations in their pursuit of power.
In the last 23 years, he has fully devoted himself to journalism in Peru and the United States as a researcher, reporter, executive news producer, and television anchor, as well as writing articles on international politics analysis in the United States and Mexico.

The presentation of “ILLEGAL ALIENS” took place at the Mario Vargas Llosa Auditorium of the National Library of Peru on Monday, June 20, 2017, with the participation of the Vice President of Peru, Mercedes Araoz, international analyst Ramiro Escobar, and journalist Maritza Espinoza, before more than 300 people.
